This is a blog to share, archive, provoke ideas of a 1st year design studio at Istanbul Technical University.

We are called trauma 115e, referring to the traumatic processes the first year design students go through when they face with the design challenges for the first time in their lives. Trauma points out to the struggle of the students and tutors at the first year studio to find a way of communication, and the ways of stretching the settled systems of representation as a positive outcome of the process.

The tutors are: Aslıhan Şenel, Ahu Sökmenoğlu, Zeynep Ataş, Ozan Avcı.
